| Ok so I decided to rig up two smaller flowering chambers instead of just one large one. The area is 3ft. by 4ft. Should I use a 430W son argo or a 600W HPS in this area, is the yield and speed of growing going to be that much different? You see what I am really worried about is that two 600W flowering chambers would eat up way to much power and get me busted. How noticable is that amount of power consumption? Sorry for all the stupid questions, I just want to biuld the best setup I can! Thanks a ton in advance. -Indy | ||

| The 600 watt would be great for flowering, and the best to use. That would provide 50 watts per square foot. It would cost around a dollar and a half a day to run for 24 hours, of course this depends on your electricity rates. You don't have to worry about the infrared heat seeking choppers, though. Not unless you got more than a couple thousand watts going. Peace, Observer [This message has been edited by Observer (edited March 30, 2000).] | ||

| Hey, Thanks Observer. Do you know how closely they monitor your power comsumption these days? I am not so sure, i know my dad used to run well over 2000W worth of lights without any troubles, but now a days im not so sure. I usually grow outdoors and so I am kinda sketchy about bringing it inside. Thanks alot guys. Peace. Indy | ||
