I recently purchased a 250 watt MH Sun System I with ballast, horizontal reflector, and timer for about 330$. I'm not really concerned about the price as much as I'd like to have a 400 watt system to fully cover my 6 square feet of growing area. Right now the 250 is in a Mylar "hut" and seems to be working okay. Looking around online I think I might have been taken at this price. I guess the tradeoff is that I got the system via cash and the shop seems to be pretty cool about me not giving them an exact description of what I'm growing. Actually, using general terms like sprouts, seedlings and so on seems to convey the message .

I think that's about double the price that it would normally go for, actually

I Have a few links at home that may help you with your question.

I'll post them here later but i think your price is more like a 400W HPS with all included.

I agree, you could have gotten a 400W system for even less than that.

Peace

shoot. Well, at this point I could try to return it, though I will still only have 6 square feet of growing space without rebuilding the chamber. I already have a ventilation/heat problem that I'm trying to find a quiet means of dealing with.

Sorry about your misfortune. We all live and learn in this battle against our stupid government. www.discount-hydro.com has the best lighting prices you can find on the net. Beware the shipping cost and avoid u.p.s. if at all possible. Good luck
