ok ive never done this b-4 and im thinking of tryiing to grow some of my plants from seed. i want to grow out doors but i have to start off indoors, right? ok well i just want to know what the cheapest setup i can get just to start off my seeds and grow them untill they are big enough to put out side. how long will that take? plz explain a good cheap setup.(i dont want an expensive one cuz its only temporary) thx for the help!!!!

cheapest setup u can do would be with flourescents, just keep em close to growth tips (within 2 inches) The more flourescents the better.

ok well i dug up a 275 watt lamp, would that work? how far should i keep it away from the plants and how long do i leave it on for? should i add more lights? one last thing, about homuch will this cost a month in power, im trying to do this w/out my parents finding out im growing in my closet!!! one last thing does any one know how effective neg-ion generators are of controling the smell?

Thumper I'm sorry to say you should NOT grow in your parents house unless they are cool with it.They could lose EVERYTHING!I'm not trying to be a dick just wanna let you know the facts

umm the lamp is like a halogen i thgink, im going to set up 3 floresents vertacly on the wall, (6 bulbs) is that enough for 4 plants do yah think? im only growing indoors for fun, i have a bunch more our side
