okay my plants are about 7-8 in tall should i top them now are wait and when should i change the lighting i have been on 16-off 8 for about 2 weeks are so please help

ok,
first of all top the plants at the 4th branch out (you know how their are leaves that come out of the main stem top it at the 4th one up), cutt the plant in a straight line with a razor or a VERY sharp knife.
keep the light on 24 hours a day utill the 2 leaves and stems grow out in a V shape, wait untill the plants are real bushy like before you flower, or how ever tall you want them to be.
