Is it just me, or can you guys smell your hps bulbs? I just installed 2 new 150watt HPS's and theyve been on for a few hours now, they smell weird. Am I just crazy? | ||

| cool, thanks =D The lights I bought have built in ballasts hiding in the casing, so that was cool I didnt have to deal with that. But thanks for the response, I hope thats what it is =D it does smell kinda weird, I miss the smell of my sweet green mary jane. | ||

| just make sure the smell isnt the wood near the bulb getting too hot and scorching. the smell should subside in a few hours. if it hasnt, then you need to put a reflector between the bulb and your cab! | ||

| I've never noticed any smell. I've been through 3 different light systems, including cheap bulbs all the way up to the 1000W hortilux eye bulb (108.xx!!!)
