![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I ran into these for an unreal price and just have to use them. I've got a few other projects going on and don't have the time to design how I want to use them. Currently I have in my posession a 1k hps (switchable ballast) and a 400w MH and a dozen different types of CFL's. I do not want to go over 1600w's. Last grow I used a 600w HPS and a 400w MH in a 5x4x5 set-up. Everything was great until I sold my 600w and threw in the 1000w hps 2 weeks into flower. Too hot I figures. So, any suggestions and finger points to anyone using 250w HPS's is much help. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Brown thumb? Take finger out of butt! Hey man, how are you, long time. ![]() I can't help you on a solid advice, as you know I'm a 400 user, but I'll say the 4 x 150's might produce as much heat as the one 1k would, unless you cool them or throw the ballasts out of the room. ![]()

If I had four 250's I'd get four SOUR DIESEL kush clones, and four BLACK DOMINA Clones.. I'd seperate strains and Veg them a week or two and them put them in flower. They'll grow different and taste different and medicate different. The best of both worlds. All that might be needed (In my case... DEFINITLY) is some nice OG Kush clones in there. Hopefully I'd be able to get some nice and big two month old clones too to make it a 7 week harvest and with little to none grow problems and bomb buds. I only have one 250w hps right now and my plants are actually under cfl's until I finalize my cab (which costs money). I can only imagine having an awesome grow setup and finishing my first indoor grow. Until then, I keep reading and walking along the path of experience.

Im starting a new grow journal saturday using a 2k SOG, and 430 watt scrog. Im not sure how the scrog will do, as its my first time using this technique, but everybody who does a scrog seems to do pretty well here.

All of these ballasts are going to be somewhat remote. They came with big half dome globes that will more likely be hacked and used as my reflectors. Why not...shit was almost free ![]() Van Omen Keep on reading and learning. I've found things I've done wrong and things I can do to change. There is not a day that goes by that my eyes aren't in some sort of grow info. I'll finish this post a lil later, rides here, goin ![]()
