Lights when using DWC?

Hey I know you can get away with CFL's or just regular 4 foot fluorescent bulbs for the vegetative growth. But what would be the cheapest for flowering? I dont really have the $$ for HID or HPS so I was wondering what would get me a decent crop without paying alot of money?

CFL's are the cheapest, but in the long run the cheapest solution frequently winds up being the most expensive. I'd save up for a HPS if I were you. They can be had on ebay for relatively cheap and you'll be much happier with the results.

Yea that's true but I wanna get this indoor grow started as soon as possible. I was just wondering of some alternative lights for flowering that would be big on blooming but not on my wallet.

if yield isn't an issue, (just growing for your own use) try a t-5 set-up.

Yea, when you calculate the extra time and lack of density you are going to get flowering with flouros, then HPS lamps keep increasing in value with every calculation

Get a decent reflector. I have read adjust a wings have the better reflectivity these days, though I know you are short on cash

Yeah I am gonna stick to the advice that has been given to me and get a HPS. Now is this all that I need for flowering? I am still gonna use the fluorescents for vegging.(if thats okay)
