hi im starting to grow six small plants in my grow box. the box is very small (1.6inches tall x 1ft x 1.4). the question that i want to ask: i have two 20inches Fluorescent Cabinet Lights? is it enough?
each ligh has a 16watt bulb that produces 80watts of light.
that 80 watts of light x 2lights=160watts of light.


1) Is that enough light for 6 small plants (i want them to be around 15inches tall)?

2) Should I increase the amount of light during harvesting?

3) How many weeks will it take for me to finish harvesting if i start growing today?(what do u think?)

(the walls in my box are painted white, i have one small fan that
blows fresh air in to the box, the temperature stays at 73-86F)

Not really. You can grow something...but it will take long time because flo's have such a low light level. With such a small space, all you can work with is flo's tho. Look for compact flo's with high lumen output.

2) Should I increase the amount of light during harvesting? That would be great...but again with your space...you wont be able to put bigger lights in there. So all you can do is exchange all the cool white flourescent bulbs (which is better for veg)...to warm white bulbs which have an orange-red spectrum and are better for flowering.

3) How many weeks will it take for me to finish harvesting if i start growing today?(what do u think?)
With fluorescents....probably....6-8 weeks for veg......another 6 to 8 weeks to finish. 1-2 months for drying and curing. You are looking at a ways down the road.

White walls are fine. Temp is fine. In addition to the fan blowing in..you need to have some sort of exhaust in the top for heat to escape.

or you can totally kill off the dry/cure time and buy a food dehydrator, ok, so its a little more harsh, saves a LOT of time
