Okay In a couple days i will be grabbin some lights for my little set up. My grow space is about 11sq feet, and i will be purchasing a MH and a HPS.

If i buy a 400watt MH Ill get about 35watts/sq ft. Does Anyone know if 600watt MHs exist? Id like to get one if they do for the sheer increased light concentration for my babies.

I already got my eyes set on a 600watt HPS, which should do me fine for flowering. If they make 600watt HPS, why not MH? and if they do where can I find them?

I guess if there is only 400's in MH, would that be enough to cover the dimension that were listed above? (11sq ft.) without any serious lowering in bud concentration/quality? 1000watts would just be too much for my little space.

Oh and if anyone knows where I could grab a good switchable ballast from MH to HPS could you let me know please. 400watt, 600 if it exists. thnx.

and.....HOLY SH*T!!!!!! Now that is what I call a bud. Did you grow that? Kudos to whomever did.

I have never seen a 600 watt MH....I think they go from 400 right to 1000. Ballasts can be had cheap at lots of places. Check out growsystems.com. Check out eBay. Check out electrical supply warehouses. Get that old Google going and search 'em out.

You'll have no problems going from a 400MH to a 600 HPS. I veg under a 400 MH and flower under a 1000 HPS- the plants love it. Suddenly, we're flowering, and BANG, thousands of extra lumens!
