Right now my plants are only about 3.5 inches tall, doing fine.. Right now I am only using floros and have about 3300 lumens per square foot... since there small im not too worried right now but i know they are gonna need more light soon.. The only HPS light I can get around here is a 70 watt Secuirty light.... at HD.. I found some on ebay i wanted to buy but litterally with 1 second left someone comes and takes it... well anyway I was curious do you think for the Veg stage it would be better to add more floro's or should i add the 70 watt HPS now and maybe add anopther 70watt later on?

The best way to win an Ebay auction is to not bid until there
are only a few seconds left, when you hit SUBMIT BID, and
boom....I haven't lost because I am willing to pay more than
someone else, a lot of people just take their name to the
top and do not pay attention.

I can't tell you how many cussing E mails I have gotten

-and they have the audacity to get mad at me

But I digress...
Check out the lights on EBAY, and get yourself one, or
even better, do what I do, I find someone selling one
close in your area, than just offer to pick it up or meet
up with them. That way you don't have to pay an
ourtageoous amount just for the shipping....saves them
the pain in the tail of lugging it to the UPS or wherever
...that charge alone has discouraged me from a Light or two

How many fluoros do you have now? I veg under fluoros exclusively and am very satisfied with the results. Thing is, for fluoros to work efficiently throughtout veg, they have to be growing pants that have been trained to grow short and wide and not tall. Fluoros have a very limited effective depth of penetration so plants only grow really well 6 inches from the bulb or less
