![]() | youll do quite well under those three hid's. you should think about starting your plants under floro's tho, the vegetative growth will be superior. read up on vegging with floro's and you will see that it is often the choice of the very best of the big boys on here. for four plants you should use enclosed space and as much floro wattage as you can get to within 1-3 inches of your babies. [i use compact floro's and i lov'em] - there are 200w worth of them in 20x20 "enclosed"space. i hope this helps, latr, J D.

![]() | like i said earlier, "read" a few posts and base your grow on the info that you accumulate. it would take days, maybe weeks for anyone to write everything that you will need to know, in this thread. its obvious that you havent even read for more than a few days. there are many advocates of 24/0 vegetative lighting scedule --and many others of 18/6. your space is double the size that it should be, [to achieve optimal]- for just the three 75watters you have. my closet is 7.5 sq. ft. and i have 500w of hps in there. [50/50/150/250]watts each, and i want to enclose my space even more now!! also , i just said to "GET AS MUCH FLORO WATTAGE AS POSSIBLE ALL WITHIN 1-3 INCHES, FROM YOUR PLANTS" --i just said it in the last post!! i can and will "try" to be of help to anyone that shows enough interest. but someone who hasnt even read "and understand" the grow guide first, doesnt get much respect around here. i hope this helps a little, latr, J D. pleaeaeaeaese, read on.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | While there IS a lot to read concerning growing our favorite herb, here are some basics... The growth cycle is divided into 2 parts...vegetative and flowering. Vegetative starts from germination with usually 24/7 lighting...although some growers prefer to have the light go off for a few hours a day. (There's where intensive reading will allow you to make a choice...myself, I go for 24/7) The length of vegetation (growing inside w/lights) is ALL up to you...well, after the plant is mature enough, that is. You can force-flower a plant once it develops branching that starts to alternate...which means when they start growing NOT directly across from each other. Which could be as early as 4-5 weeks...or as long as you want the plant size to be. ALWAYS keep in mind they'll stretch up to 3 times the size after you induce flowering! Something to factor in when you're trying to determine WHEN to induce. Inducing flowering...This is simply cutting your light regimen to 12 hours on, 12 hours off. Most strains will start to show sex of plant a week or so after light cut-back. DON'T forget to kill all the males! Then after another 6-14 weeks (depending on strain...most Indicas will flower for 6-9 weeks) you've got buds! JORDANSDAD is right on about the lighting! With floros they need to be close because of the intensity. HID's are WAY more efficient when flowering, so floros can get you by well during most of your flowering period. It sounds like you're planting more than one seed per pot. If that's correct, it's generally not a good practice due to root constriction probs. Anyway...hope I helped clear things up a little for ya. The search button works great for certain questions, just click on it (it's in the row of buttons just above thread title) enter a keyword (like 'nutes', 'floros', 'trichomes' etc.) and you'll get EVERY thread with that keyword in it. Happy growing, ![]() pOOn ![]()
