Yeah I harvested my two plants in flowering today, and I was moving my vegging LST plant into my flowering closet. When I was setting up the fan I was feeling to see if the breeze passed under the light, and i lefted my hand too high. It was sizzlin'

Yeah I once brushed my hand across a 150watt HPS and I was like "****!". I didn't leave any marks on my hand like yours, but I did feel some soreness on the spot for two days after! And that was from a 150 watt bulb! I can't imagine touching a 1000 watt bulb....
