This question may have been answered, but I couldn't find much using search.

I have smaller hps, 150 watt.

I have decided to vegg for a while, (now at 49 days),
and will stay there, until I can find a great light like 400 to 1000 watts.

Where could one find such a light, without going through Ebay, and still being able to eat?

... if you really want a 150 will work provided you minimize your space. if you are strapped for cash this is a good way to go. their cheap and come fully assembeled at home depot.

although a 400, 600, or 1000 is gonna be better, you can pull off a couple plants with a 150w. take a look at the journal in my sig. it was a grow i started with flos and bought a 150 later. it was well worth it, and it also tought me a lot. give her a click, there lots of pictures and well you'll see for yourself!

It sounds almost too simple, but have you considered just adding another 150 W HPS? Or to get a more complete spectrum get a 150W MH with your HPS.

Well, I am vegging like 9 plants, and they are growing pretty fast, and I thought i'd do this for about 4 months.
I can tell you that I seem to be growing outside my light sources.

My grow area is 10' x 10', and I already have 2 (150 watt hps) and also I have 3 4 foot dual flours. which all set about 16 inches from the tops of the plants.

Just trying to think ahead.
