Lightbulb The Perfect Grow Light?
permalink

Ok, after a long search, the cheapest HPS, 400w light i have found is 85 UKP(free delivery).

I think it will do the job perfectly for the space i am using it to light ( 1.1m * 1.1m high * 1/2m wide)

Please look at this, and can any experienced growers tell me if this will grow the 2 or 3 plants well, in that space? (im going to go get a photo or 2 of my grow area for you to see!)

Thanks

for the wattage.

Go for it dude,But they do give out some heat I use two 400 watters & I have been having temp & humidity problems. (even with a vent & extractor fan) see grow journal.

Not such a big deal in veg or early flower so I have a dehumidifier on its way for the main flowering time to avoid mold.

Talking Tempreature in a shed
permalink

Yeh i was thinking about the heat problems. Also, im using it in my shed, out my back garden...

Inside the shed at night its just about the same temp as outside (between 0 - about 10 degrees C)

Will the temp off the light and the temp from outside not work together and create a nice tempreature?

Ill test it when i get it with a thermometer....

I am not sure but I feel that you still may need to vent to the outside world so watch your light does`nt show outside (make sure your ducting has a few bends in it to defuse the light to the outside world) as the lights give off a lot of heat dude.

& with all that water there will be humidity problems at some point.

As I have found out ,thankfully in the education vein.
