permalink

hey, just a couple of newbie Q's,
but how much light does the sun give out per foot/2 ?

and, I'v just started putting my babies in the window during the day ( i put 2ltr bottles over each pot ) and back in the closet at nighttime, is this ok?
i been doing this for 2 days now

My plant are 13 days old from seed and are about 3 inches tall,
i'v got two floros that work at the mo, ones 2.5 ft 38w the other is 2ft 25w
but when i get some cash for tubes i will have another 2 38w and another 25w (moneys short right now and they all went within a month of each other)

Yes, 10kL/sq. ft. is a good average day. It can get as high as 15kL/sq ft on a clear day at the equator when the earth is at perihelion, and as low as 5-6kL/sq ft on a heavily overcast day.
