  | No, it wont. If you want to use only one bulb you need an HPS. Metal halide and mercury vapor are the right spectrum of light for vegetative growth but you need HPS (or red spectrum) for flowering. Metal halide will grow plants well, but are usually only used in vegetative. Mercury vapour usually isnt used because its spectrum isnt as good as a metal halide, and it generates a huge amount of heat. I suggest getting an HPS
