Sir Smoke-A-Lot

I found a couple random plant lights in my house. they are GE lights called "House/Garden indoor lighting, Plant light reflector kit" they say 65 watts. i cant find anything about lumns. anyone know what im talking about and care to give me advice? i bet these probably arnt the best in the world, but i have about 3 of them, so could i use them for awehile until i upgrade, or would it be worthless?

Worthless for growing pretty flowers, might keep your houseplants alive, but thats about it.

Lots of info and pix on Fluorex grows here, just gotta look. Personally, I'm neutral on them.

I think there may have been some reliability problems due mostly to elevated heat in enclosed spaces but they're bright and efficient. A good small starter light.
