Lowryder is a interesting strain for those that know about I have a question for you. I plan on growing some lowryders closet style and am curious as to what the best flour's are that I can buy at home depot. It's a closet grow 22inches tall, 5 feet long, and a depth of about a foot. And i plan on cramming it with plants. The plant is auto-flowering so I can leave the lights on a 18-6 pattern. SO, what are the best lights for this project?

![]() | Line your space with mylar, so you can maxamise your lighting. as far as what kind of CFL? well ....your space is kinda low eaven for lowryder but it can be done..about 5 or 6 of the 26 watt (100 watt of light) will be goood for the space. I have grown Lowryder twice. 1st time was with 6 CFLs in a mylar lined cabinet, measuring 1' deep X 3' wide X4' high. There were 3 plants, and my end results were 1 1/4 oz. 2nd time was with a 400 w HPS in a cabinet that was 4' X 4' x 5' and results were slightly better but not by much. Low ryder is a smooth smoke, the scent is kinda different, and its high is marginal. not too shabby for going seed to bud in 2 months

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Skoat: You certainly buy your lights from HD, if you're so inclined, but why limit yourself to them? There are many other sources that specialize in light specifically designed for growing... A touch more $$ at the front end, maybe, but in the long run you will see better results for your efforts. Flour's aren't particularly efficent in $$ per hour for the lumens they generate. Specially if you're intent on cramming your space with plants. Not saying you can't go your way, it's just that there are many different options open to you.... Keep it in mind... JW

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | well let's see... Apparently this strain originated in Poland and the old USSR. Ergo, long days. Keep the lights on 18/6. I grew autoflowering plants so I have similar experience. Mine grew for 2 weeks and flowered for 9. Use a red spectrum fluoro Don't skimp on the bone meal either!!! They get hungry!!!
