I have a simple yet key question. I've got a nice grow going and currently have a few good (F) plants 24 days into flowering. The lights go on around 4pm and off at 4am, usual 12/12. My question is if I set my timer for 12/12 in different times on and off would this affect the plants greatly in any way?

Just for some clarification. If the lights are going off at 4am and on at 4pm and I change the lights on off to 7pm on 7am off would that affect the plants/growth flowering in any way?

Nope, no problem to make a change in the middle of a cycle. I've done it before and will probably do it again for whatever reason.

So long as you aren't changing the cycle every few weeks or so you'll be fine just the once.

Change it after your lights go out. If anything is safe then it's a little extra darkness.

Exactly, as the flowering is triggered by 12 hours + of darkness per cycle....less and they will veg/reveg

It is also correct that you should avoid doing it frequently as it will increase the chances of your plants becoming hermies. Once or twice will incrase your chances only very slightly, a dozen times and...
