Still have the headache and I am beginning to come down (almost the whole way). I should have taken some Advil a few hours ago but I didn't (either that or I should have drank something). I am impressed with the staying power of this but I still like the pills and/or baked goods better. The alcohol doesn't sit too well with me. I got buzzed....ah, this could be the headache issue,....off the little but I drank. I get drunk off a pint of beer so it doesn't surprise me that I have a headache from this (not that I think about it).

I get a nice headache if i drink a half oz of that shit Something to do with the alkaloids in the weed maybe I think its nutrient related Nitrogen? I dunno but it happens every time i drink enough of it.

I don't think anyone has mentioned...after you have made your green dragon it should be fairly bright green in color. If you want it to stay this color make sure the bottle or storage container never comes in contact with sunlight, otherwise it will turn a poop brown color. Just FYI.

I have stumbled across a few other Green Dragon recipes lately and just found this one.

I like the sound of a concentrated solution (just a few drops 'll do ya), but I'm wondering what your opinion is on this idea.

I just picked up two (750ml) bottles of 80 proof vodka.

1. Use dried bud finely ground using a coffee grinder.
2. Bake at 225°F temp for approx 30 min.
3. Pour 1 bottle of vodka (750ml) into a jar.
4. Heat vodka (but not too hot) just to aid in the initial meltdown of the THC and add the bud, and cover.
5. Allow to cool, funnel all contents back into bottle (incl. the bud) and let it age.

MY THOUGHTS:
The baking temp and time is part of a capsule recipe that worked out VERY well for me (using ground bud). I just figured I’d continue with what worked for me. Please let me know if it’s wrong or if another time/temp is better
I figured that I didn't want to heat up the vodka too hot or for too long because I do not want to evaporate too much of the alcohol ... also considering that vodka contains less alcohol than the alcohols suggested previously in this thread.
Perhaps it will just take longer to age with a lower alc. content?

I was thinking that I would try to make a version of Green Dragon that one can take shots, use with mixed drinks, etc… rather than dosing drinks with drops … I like vodka I’ll likely make a concentrated version too.

Well I went ahead and made a bunch.

I went with 34g of nice bud to 2 bottles/1500ml of vodka. I didn't bother to heat or warm the vodka at all though. I hope it turns out alright after a few months.

For years I have soaked my leaf&stems in 90-93% (whichever I can find) rubbing alcohol for 4-6 hours. Then starin it and let the alcohol evaporate. Then I use a razor to scrape up the weed oil and mix it with the vegetable oil called for in most Brownie Mixes. The result is some killer brownies with no weed taste at all. The effects hit anywhere from 30min to 45 to after ingestion, and the buzz lasts 4-5 hours and is very different from the buzz from the smoked bud from the same plant...much more of a body buzz but it isn't JUST a body buzz...it's all around good. OH Very important to read the rubbing alcohol label...it should read contents Alcohol and water...NOTHING else.

I just did an extraction using Iso alcohol (only 70%) this past weekend using some real crappy trim I had lying around. I had no idea what to expect ... I think it turned out alright. Never baked with weed though.

I think the extraction went well ... approx a 3g nug
