I already made my cannabutter and i'd like to make krispie treats, but ive heard from a couple of people that you cant cook with cannabutter over a certain temp or the THC will escape. Is this true?

as i understand it, THC most rapidly degrades at temperatures above 106*C and will vapourize at 157*C

Bake on! You should have no trouble baking Rice Krispy treats at typical oven temps. Millions have gone before you and been sufficiently baked with the results.

Consider using almond or walnut oils for your extractions. they keep at room temp, they are vegan and they do not contribute to bad cholesterol.

You shouldn't have any trouble. How do you think all them chronic brownies and cookies are made? It's good to keep the butter at a low simmer when you're making it, but as far as using the butter in baked goods, I wouldn't worry about oven temps.

i prefer to err on the side of caution and aim to keep temperatures as low as possible i bake canna-treats at about 220*F, never above 225*F ..and for about twice as many minutes but i watch them close
in my experience, over-baked cookies do not have as happy effects

canna-krispies don't need baking tho just melt the butter slow on low and it'll be fine
