Weak ass cannabutter

I made some cannabutter the other day and it is pretty weak. Does anyone know how to strenghten it? My problem was i put too much butter in it without enough MJ. Now i've got almost 2 pounds of weak ass cannbutter. I could just eat a LOT of it, but i don't wanna gain a ton of weight. Can i reboil it or something?

I wish you guys would read or try to do some searching before you post questions.

Tombo...you figured out your own problem. You had too much butter. Here is a recipe for cannabutter.....again... I beleive this recipe is ala the illustrious Panama.

Cannabutter
Simmer 1 lb. butter with 1/4-1/2 oz clean* weed. DO NOT LET COME TO A BOIL!!! Use a thermometer and keep it between 190 and 210 if possible. Simmer this approximately 1/2 hour - 45 minutes. Stir constantly so the bottom does not stick and burn. Strain thru cheesecloth, let harden.....voila'! If your butter is not very strong....use leaves from a stronger strain or use more weed.

*Grinding the weed into a fine powder is best.

Why shouldn't you let the water boil?
I realise that THC has a lower boiling point than water, so is it a butter thing?

No..it's a burning thing. Getting the butter too hot will burn off the THC instead of just suspending it in the butter.

Water? What water? No water. Just butter, herb and a cheesecloth for straining.

So what is the desired and temperature supposed to be? Also, what is the temperature which will destroy THC?

Desired temp...190 - 210. Point at which THC will start burning off....212, the boiling point.
You are getting too technical about this man. Just don't let the butter come to a boil. Keep it simmering. That's all. Not that hard....you will see.
