![]() | I was just pondering what to do with some excess leaves (big old sun leaves I trimmed away from blocking the light), and then I remembered this recipe for cannabutter: Some water Some butter Some cannabis. The idea is to put the leaves in water and cover with a little butter, then boil them until the butter turns green. Well I had only a small amount of leaves, so I decided to try only with a coffee cup. I covered it with a saucer and put into microwave, just max heat for about a minute and then again for 30 sec. The cup got quite hot, and yes, the butter turned light green ... and the best of all, it smells just like hash butter! Yum yum. The fistful of leaves turned into green mush, so I screened the **** once, took the green butter and water to another cup and added some fresh water and butter to repeat the first steps. And again, I got green butter! After another screening I just flushed the mush out the toilet (no use letting the homeless people searching our garbage find anything smelling like hash), and I placed the butter/water cup into fridge to cool. And boy, does it taste fine.. well actually tastes like anything with butter & hash in it, gives such a nice, slow-rising high.. ate the first sandwoch an hour ago and the second just now, I'm expecting these to be kicking me in the brain for at least six hours. Don't simply throw away those big beautiful leaves and stems! Cook them! make C0sMiC sandwiches or chocolate candy! heck, now i think I'm pretty screwed, but soon I'll e muc more if the effects follow the same lines as with hash.. oh oh. Gotta go have a beer or two with buddies now. peace & love & such

![]() | Well, it was fine while it lasted.. not as intense as when smoking hash out of a bong, but high, as in.. high. Baked all evening. After salvaging all the budder, I let the water in the cup stay for a day.. when I emptied it there was some foul green sediment in the bottom and the cup was a bit coloured. Now I know what to do when the harvesting time comes.. no need to let the leaves dry, even, just crush'em and do the water-butter-thing but this time in a kettle. Some homemade chokolate cookies to help endure the winter's lectures... The bigger male should watch out.. his pods are ripening and smell like some serious tetrahydro****, I have my eye on him now ![]()
