basic cookies
permalink

at the end of my senior year in high school a friend of mine baked cookies for all of his friends, including myself. (by the way, the cookies were great, i ate two cookies, .5 grams in each and i was blitzed for a good four hours.)

i asked him how he made them and he said that all he did was melt marijuana in with the butter that he was using for the recipe. i'm not exactly sure how much he used, but i'm sure it was plenty as he had about 40 cookies.

he told me that you can strain the butter with a screen type strainer to get all of the bits of leaf and bud out.

now clearly this worked. is the only reason why people make cannibutter and hash and whatnot because you get more THC out of the leaves and buds?

number two, can i use just the leaves and stems from a plant i just grew? i can weigh it out to see how much it is, probably wont be too much.

i figure i might as well try. if it takes half a dozen cookies to get me high, at least i'll be full.

any input it more than helpful. i'll include a pic at the bottom of the plant so y'all can see about how much lea***e i will get.

peace,
trev.

Yeah trev that'll work

Use all the trimmings and leaves straight into a pan with the butter/margarine (less fat you know ) on a low light, just enough to melt the butter

Start with about 4oz of butter, simmer for a good 1/2 hour (low light remember) enough to cover all the trimmings with butter, then strain the mix through a sieve, only add more butter if it's not coating all the trim. Let the butter cool, and then use it in your favorite recipe

I did a pic thing on the end of Brindies's Brownie post, it's in the Library if'n you can't find it

also, if you're lazy like me and don't want to pay as much attention to the butter to make sure you don't burn it, use the water method. either do a double boil (boiling water in one pot and the butter and herb in a pot above that) or just combine the butter and weed with the water. either way, let it go for as long as you like, but longer is usually better. if you cook the butter and weed in the water, have a slow boil. then, strain out the plant material and freeze the water/butter. it separates and then the water can be separated easily from the water. any way you do it, if it works it is great

from what i have read, probably.
people make hash out of male plants and what is left over of the female plant, so i would assume you could pull it off with the male plant although i wouldn't expect a very intense high, but who knows.
good luck.
peace,
trev.
