![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have stored butter in the fridge for a few weeks before. And I have had cookies and brownies that were a month old that I ate before. SO you can keep for a longer duration. cheers KP

do you have to boil the mixture for so long? wont the butter and the water seperate overnight? therefore you wouldnt have to waste all that time boiling the water out... THC attaches to the fat molecules in the butter so you would have a layer of THC/FAT/BUTTER and then under it would be water and i guess butter that hasnt seperated. i think maybe this way it would take longer to seperate. dont want to find out this time however just my $.02.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Your exactly right. I boil it for so long for two reasons. 1. You have to make sure that the THC bonds to the fat. It may have bonded after like 10 minutes of boiling. But I use a lot of scraps so I do it just to make sure. 2. When I boil out the water it is also just ot make it easier on me. Less water in the pot is less I have to pour out through the cheese-cloth. No real major problem. Do whatever you thinks best. KP

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Depending how well I squeeze out the butter from the scraps... I get about a cup to a cup and half generally. Yeah, there will be very little taste in them, that is the best part Let us know how they work out for you.KP

| ....Ah....guess no one mentioned making the batch of NO-POT brownies (cookies etc) for the inevitable munchies! And for the cooking impaired... Once the cannabudder is made , either via KP's method or the simple "I'm a Stoner I only own I pot" method [ Grind up your plant matter in a coffee grinder-- sticks, twigs, leaves, ---everything but seeds which are bitter tasting -- Your ground up matter is ...let's call it..."pot flour". Put 2 sticks of butter or margarine or 1 cup of oil --- margarine is better for cookies, butter better for candies, cakes, brownies and most recipes on the stove, oils are great for salad dressings) -- for each 1/4 cup of "pot flour" Melt your margarine/butter and heat your oil until it is liquid, add your "pot flour" , cover and let simmer on LOW for about 20 minutes. Strain through a wire mesh strainer -- cause a plastic one will melt -- into a bowl. You can place a coffee filter or a hankerchief or cheese cloth or even paper towel in the mesh strainer to strain out the now oil impregnated flour, and squeeze the filter, handkerchif, etc, to get out all the last of the margarine/oil/butter.] Voila ....MAKE CANDY!!!!! Rice Krispies treats need only a microwave for heating up the marshmallows...and about 1/4 to a 1/2 cup of butter can be mixed right in....use Cocoa Krispies or Cocoa Pebbles and some M&Ms, pecan bits, Heath bar bits....heh heh... BUT always make a batch of plain for Munching or you'll end up tail over head...Couch lock has a whole new meaning when you eat this stuff. Have fun....and a cookie ![]() Mama Budz | ||

i tried your method before and it is the best!...but I have a couple questions. First....i am in my second attempt right now and i used so much scraps i had to use a huge spaghetti pot and 2 sticks of butter....so there was alot of water and overnight a very thin layer of butter formed on the top. it is maybe 3/4 of a stick of butter...i scraped it off and the rest of the water turned to ice. it is really oily though so i dont know what to do.. i am trying to reheat right now???? more buttter??? i dont want to waste it.

![]() | Hey KP, I followed your recipe to a T using three males i had from my current grow. The males were 20 20 and 30" respectively. I boiled them in a pot that was probably to large which required so much water to boil off but they cooked for about 2.5 hrs with three sticks of butter.....Anyway to make a long story shorter, after the congealmant of cannabutter put in the fridge overnight we made brownies last night and i ate one and after about 45 minutes i thought hmmm i think i feel something so i went ahead and had another, well an hour after the first brownie i REALLY started to feel it and then the other one kicked in and i have to say i have not been THAT stoned in i don't know how long and i remained stoned for 5 hours off of MALE PLANTS We had rented Seabiscuit....ummm....it's a good thing we have it for five days iffn ya know what i mean P.S. thanks again. and i still have almost a whole batch of brownies and a 1/2 cup or so of cannabutter left.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Kingsblend420 that happens to me when I do not squeeze the scraps enough. And too much scrap material with butter still attached was thrown away. In the case of only a thin layer, I do two things. I either take a spoon or a spatula and slowly slide it across the top of the pot. It takes a long time but you can collect the butter this way. Your basically just skimming the top layer to get the butter. And I normally use a spaghetti pot. I have even used a double boiler almost completely filled. Bowlobud glad it worked out for you. Looks like there is good in males (sometimes). Hopefully you got plenty of free time, brownies make it so you need that. But remember... You build a tolerance when you eat it. So in the future you will need to eat more to get the same buzz. But as long as your not eating a bunch everyday you will be fine. Don't hesitate to save the brownies for a few weeks. I have ate one month old brownies before, and it never bothered me. I personally like freezing the brownies. They taste like a cold, chewy, fudgy, treat....N'Joy KP
