Exactly, thats what i did. I couldnt do that every night so they should last awhile....As a matter of fact, I didnt make it in to work the next day...lol . Contrary to most people weed keeps me up, but when i finally crash i crash hard....ZZZZZZzzzzzzz

Damn. Knew I forgot something.

Ok, qc report. I have made a couple of batches since my last post. One following a regular brownie mix and one making blonde brownies.

When I eat something made with my cannabudder, it doesn't knock me out or anything. What it will do is "steady" my system. I will not be sick to my stomach, be able to eat and basically keep myself healthy enough to take other off topic medications or until I have smoke again.

I imagine if I would use buds instead of trim I would get that "curl in a fetal position until it passes feeling", but for what I need it for, taking the edge off, it works well for that.

Yeah plains you need a lot of scraps to get the fetal position feeling going. About a double boiler worth of scraps to be exact

JG, you deffinately need to get in on the butter action, good stuff.

Bowlobud, brownies make me sleep sooooo well. That is probably my favorite part about them. I can stay up for most of it, but when I crash, I am goooone.

............but I was inspired this morning to make some butter!

I now have 1 pound butter(sorry, can't do that Marge stuff) + 1 ounce of all-bud slowly simmering on the stove.

This was some crushed bud I set aside over a year ago just for making butter, but never got a round TUIT. It has been sitting in a sealed 1 gallon zip bag. It doesn't smell too exciting!..but not spoiled.

All of my smoking buds are kept in Vac Jars for storage until time, but I sure hope this "bag bud for my butter" ain't too old.

But I think it may have plenty of THC in it still even after this long, God willing!:

I will stop back by with a update after the trip!

The THC level may have dropped over time, but perhps the CBD and CBN levels rose...cause I think we have a serious case of couchlock here

Thanks for such a good useful thread. It all sounds very convincing. I made me some butter tonight. Used 3/4oz bud trim & 1oz of lower bud (popcorn?) along with 250gm baking margerine (I hope I did`nt use too much marg.) The weasil is Fat Budda & Cali O, hydro grown & quite resinous.
The butter has been in the fridge a couple of hours and sure enough it is setting a nice flo green, but has no visible veg matter.
I`m getting excited am looking forward to a little cookie baking/sampling session tomorrow.
I`ll report back by the end of the week.

Well I did a search and found this Scottish Tablet Recipe. Just exchange regular butter for cannabutter and I think you'll have a lovely confection there!

Thanks Mama Budz. Looks pretty easy does`nt it? One of my old time favourite confections from childhood, my mother used to make it, only with normal butter. Think I`ll be making some Scottish tablet as well as cookies.
I got nearly 1/2 pint of canna butter, strength unknown. Its good and green but I cant say that I can see any trichs in a layer at the bottom like Old-Phart did.

Hi Karma -

I made your butter for the second time the other day. I had good success the first time.

This time I don't think I let it simmer long enough. It was pretty watery when I strained it.

I let it cook a good couple of hours and then just couldn't hang with it any longer.

I have to say that the smell of it cooking made me queazy. I waited a week to make the brownies because I needed to get past that smell.

Today I made the brownies but still haven't eaten any. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if my nose is just too dang big. The smell has put me off.

Now, let me say that this is not a horrible odor. I think it smells the way it's supposed to but it's got me off of it.

I'll try the brownies in a few days, gotta put some more time between me and that smell.
