Note: I am a fairly new hand at cooking with marijuana (have cooked professionally before though), so I am interested in pretty much all recipes containing cannabis since they are all new to me. With my good friend Mamabudz's permission, here are a few of her recipes that have made it into my cookbook. If you enjoy them as much as I have, send her a cookie. ![]() And now something to do with all those sticks and twigs: TWIG TEA: Save your sticks and grind them up into powder using your handy dandy coffee grinder. In a seperate pot (with a cover) boil about 2 cups of water to a rolling boil. Add the ground up sticks (as much as you have from a teaspoon to 1/4 cup), Cover, lower heat to a LOW. Let tea steep for at least 5 minutes (I make some toast) After 5 minutes, take pot off stove (***Turn off the stove***) toss in a teabag or two of your favorite tea (Liptons, herbal, Green tea, whatever) and let steep for another 5 minutes (go ahead and butter your toast...english muffins get boysenberry jam of course ) To Serve: Serve from a teapot that has a strainer in the spout OR Strain your tea through a tea strainer OR Use the funnel of your coffee maker with a filter in place, Sit the filter and funnel into the coffee pot and then pour the brewed tea through the funnel, the pure tea will drip/pour into the coffee (now your tea) pot Serve with Sugar or Honey as the sticks will add a bitter flavor __________________ Mama Budz * I Toke & I Vote *

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sure, I can do that. ![]() I have to preface this one by saying I hate tea. ![]() I found this recipe after several failed attempts at steeping my own brew. While this recipe is simple, I am slow and was complicating things beyond belief. I really really wanted to use as much of the plant as possible though. So Mamabudz to the rescue. I personally drink this with lots and lots of honey. It is bitter to my tender palate. Starting out, I thought I should be getting baked, but that doesn't happen with me. What does happen is it feels like my brain kicks into a higher gear. I have never gotten a traditional "high" from the tea, but it does help tremendously with writing or just sitting and watching t.v. One other thing, if I am sick, or tired it does help me sleep and also tends to settle my stomach if I can get past the bitterness. Hope this helps, Plains

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's exactly what I was looking for! I was amazed at my third attempt at cannabutter first successful one how the entire time I was high from it, I didn't even think to smoke a bowl. It was like I was at a perfect high, smiling at everything! This tea sounds like a perfect combination to 'oversweat' cookies! Thanks plains. FBS

No paraphernalia laying around or having to be packed along wherever you go, no smoke/smell in the air, no coughing or lung damage. Just pure, contented stonedness. ![]() Token420in03, give some more info on the methods you've tried. If you're not getting high, the problem must be either the starting material wasn't potent enough, or it wasn't prepared properly. Let us help. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah it was the best stone I've had in a while! Only problem, I don't usually 'look' stoned when I am. My eye's never really get that red. Well, eating it sure made my eye goes bloodshot, in a major way for about an hour! I do look forward to using my sugar leaf for some more experiments. Geez, that feels weird to say, up till now it's been "I'll just use this male.." or "I'll just use the underacheiving female.." FBS ![]()

| The same thing happens to me. People usually can't tell I'm stoned after smoking it if I don't want them to, but I can get higher from ingesting it. My eyes get bloodshot, sometimes it's hard to walk, put words into sentences or even stay awake. Mmmmmm, marijuana. ![]() | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | On this attempt I boiled 4 cups of water, ground up 2 - 1/4 cups leaves stems all dried grinded in the blender. I turned down the heat and added the greens and covered. After 5 mins i removed from the heat added my tea bags and let stand. STrained and drank half of the water... Nothing I was using blueberry and cinderella 99 f2 leaves they are all very stinky.. Before that I tried using 4 sticks of butter slowly melted in the pot added about 2 cups of greens let simmer for 45 minutes strained then let cool and drank. Nadda.. Many times i tried throwing pot in a glass microwave on low then add tea bag never worked... I'm at a loss..
