So I'm going to make hash brownies. I've done it before and it was dope (literallly). Here's my questions......dry or wet leaves best? I start by making cannibutter the usual way, but I'm wondering if it's better for the leaves (which is all I use with GREAT results for butter) to be fresh or dried? Thanks!

Dried leaves work best Only because you can grind them up much easier in the blender or food proccessor or what-have-you... However, I just cooked up a monster batch of cannabutter; (I got sick last week and decided I had to quit smoking to save my lungs, *cough* so I was impatient) the leaves were only about 50% dry... Worked out just fine My blender wasnt too happy about it though...![]() Afterburner | ||

CBN cannaboids occur as the THC breaks down, The degradation of THC and formation of CBN causes the tiny little fuzzy structures on the leaves of flowering plants to darken in color from clear to amber. I think drying would also cause a better taste, slow drying would help preserve the CBN. I would say the best stuff to use would be the trimmings from a harvested and curing MJ plant.
