Mary Jane True and perfected firecrackers (Should replace recipe from GrowFAQ)
permalink

The recipe for 'firecrackers' dug up from the old GrowFAQ is very non-descriptive and an outdated recipe.... I suggest replacing the following, more thorough recipe with the one listed below it:
Quote:
Crackers
Peanut Butter
Cleaned Cannabis (no stems, no seeds)

Spread peanut butter thickly on two crackers. Put enough cannabis on both crackers for about a joint on top of the peanut butter. Put the two crackers together to form a sandwich. Put on foil and bake at 300F for 20 minutes. Let cool and eat.

Ingredients:
-Natural Peanut Butter (Found at your grocery store with other peanut butter, this stuff has a layer of oil on the top and is extremely greesy. This is much better to use than processed peanut butter because the natural PB has a higher amount of unsaturated fat, which is needed for absorbing the THC.)
-Finely chopped cannabis (As fine as you can chop it up) **0.1 gram for each cracker, believe me this is enough, just wait and see**
-8 Unsalted Premium (Or saltine brand) crackers

-Preheat oven to 320 degree's Fahrenheit * or 160 Celsius for the rest of the world
-Spread natural PB on each of the 8 crackers and set aside
-Spread chopped cannabis evenly around the inside of 4 of the crackers coated in PB (try not to get any on the edges, as less THC will be trapped in the PB when its in the oven
-gently but firmly smoosh the 4 crackers you just sprinkled cannabis on with 4 of the other crackers coated in just PB
-Place on a baking sheet of Alum. foil
-Let bake on 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 22 minutes DO NOT OVERCOOK, DO NOT UNDERCOOK This is the best temp. and time to release all the THC without burning any off
***TO CONSUME***
Beleive me on this, these things are extremely potent, for maximum effect follow these directions:
1) Enjoy one cracker to start, sit back and you'll slowely start to feel the effect
2) 30 minutes later, eat the second cracker by this within another 15-20 minutes you should start to peak
3) Enjoy the third cracker 90 minutes after eating the second cracker, this will start to kick in right as you'd start to come down
4) Eat one more cracker every 2 hours after that for an extremely long lasting, and potent high, for a very small amount of weed.

-If you want, wrap in foil afterwords and let stand for up to 24 hours, from what I can tell this gives them a much stronger effect
-Otherwise, let cool a bit and enjoy, i suggest spreading jelly on them, as the PB alone with the crackers seriously dries out your mouth.
*They may not taste the best at first, but after the first one, you'll start to love the taste.

Firecrackers are great for transporting and enjoying pot on the road, without worrying about having smoke everywhere.

And 0.1 grams of bud isn't really going to do much, unless of course you're growing and you have like 15% and upwards THC content. Half a gram to a gram per cracker is fine.

PS - Where is the link to this? I couldn't find any recipes in the GrowFAQ, which I figured was just for, well, growing.

Well, in that case, you really wouldn't want to use an entire gram

Trust me when I say .1 gram is enough, this is seriously an extremely efficient way to use weed, unlike smoking, or baking in other goods, no THC is burnt off, or leaked away, .1 for each cracker = .4 for a batch. Thats about standard for a small joint, but with this, you'll be high for a good 5 hours

http://growfaq.medicalgarden.org/growfaq/ is the link, the one you gave isn't very detailed either, it doesnt specify the natural PB which is one of the most important things because of the unsat. fat content.

And I seriously urge everyone to just give it a try with .1g per cracker, you'll be shocked at the effect if you do everything properly
