Speedy, I'm very glad your wife does not have COPD. I am worried about what is causing the clots. What else did the doctor say? Did they do an EKG and blood work?

They did both and an MRI. It was due to a new birth control, and being on birth control for a long time. She is off the bc and won't be going back on it. They took blood twice a day for over a week to check her levels and make sure they were coming back to proper ranges before they let her out.

She is scared of smoking or vaping at the moment. I made the butter last night out of fresh sugar trim and fresh popcorn, both frozen first. I ended up using 32oz of olive oil and it covered all the stuff with maybe little pools of oil visible (meaning it was fully soaked and about 10% extra oil to make sure it absorbed it all). I let it cook in the crock pot on low for 10 hours and then strained it through a cheese cloth. I am afraid I used too much oil and it will not be strong enough. Does anyone know how to make it stronger if need be(can I recook and add more trim to it)? I understand that tolerance is a factor, but does anyone have a good, rough, working ratio of trim to oil/butter?
