So I have had some pretty bad insomnia for a little over a year and I have done some research and have heard that small amounts of marijuana can aid in causing you to go to sleep. Do you think this will make me eligible for recieving medical marijuana? The insomnia is really messin with my school studies and it tires me out so much. I just can't take it anymore. I live in California where it is legal. Who do I talk to about getting a prescription/written recommendation for marijuana? Does anyone know of any friendly medical marijuana specialists in California? I live in Riverside county (not Riverside, but Riverside County). Not sayin where cuz of The Man. lol

i would go for more pain, or Nausea. be a better be. even though it helps for sleep, will look better something on the top concern list.

It's not a Prescription, but a Recommendation from a Doctor. Prescriptions are illegal to prescribe, but Doctors can legally recommend you use MMJ as an alternative to regular medicine.

Go to your MMJ Dr with any medical record/documentation of your problem, printed peice of paper or prescription pill bottles with your name on it. Tell him or her how you feel..

If you do get your recommendation, don't blow it.

A lot of people these days assume it's a license to be stupid. Which it's not.
