First i will start off to say i am legal!
Secondly i am confused by the restrictions in my county (i am allowed to cultivate no more than 6 mature or 12 immature plants). My questions are what constitutes a mature or immature marijuana plant? Is a mature plant one producing the flowers or is it a plant of certain height. it all seems kind of fuzzy and i cant seem to find the answer i am looking for. Any seasoned med growers in the golden state have any insight on this subject?

yo im also legal and in the state of washington different police zones handle different things. I know in California it is regulated to the point where in different cities or counties there are different limits. But I read actual weight amounts as opposed to number of plants (total amount you would get off everything). I remember Berkely you could have a total of 1.5 pounds and it was the lowest i read.

Here in Washington the THC Foundation recommends you have no more than 24 plants. 16 in veg and 8 flowering. But when someone calls the police station from a random payphone to get direct quotations along with the badge number the real limits are given. Ive heard figures up to 100 plants.

As long as you got under 35 plants i'd say youre safe just about anywhere. You can always just grow bigger ones to be safe so you dont have to have so many.

i have read those links many times. they dont designate what is a mature and what is a immature plant. that is my question.

A mature plant is one that can be used for smoking. It allows for the user to get high or stoned.

An immature plant is one that cannot be used for anything.
