I have a prescription for me and my wife. When you call the dispensary, they will not discuss prices or availability. I would like to avoid wasting gas and time. If you have any info? Please let me know. Thanks

Hello Sicmarc,

Due to the many complexities surrounding state and federal drug laws, dispensaries guard themselves against undue electronic communication with the outside world - this includes phones.

Until our national government either a) decides to invest money into our children instead of busting up our gardens or b) observe a state's right to pass and enforce their own laws - we all need to do our best to help keep our clubs and medicine safe.

In that spirit - information is awesome, and saving time is always nice - but I would severly discourage anyone from posting any replies to this question to protect our brother and sisters who are putting their backs on the line for us. And this is of no fault to you Sicmarc, you were just looking for information. Much love.

some rapport with the people at a particular club is sometimes needed and good luck getting strain info out of anyone. some of the delivery services are top notch. gl.

Indeed it is a major security risk. And unfortunately, not all clubs enjoy the same level of protection from their local legislators as others.

Several clubs in my area have been raided by the DEA - just my opinion - we should leave the "marketing" or "information" about their clubs up to them. Their neck/establishment on the line.

Mr Garden, you of course are entitled to you opinion. But it does not make ANY sense to me. If a club is advertising online, in local papers, ECT that they have clones for sale, I do not see how there could be any problem discussing prices. You are not going to be arrested for having the cheapest or most expensive clones. It is my opinion that they are behaving this way because once they get you to drive 2 hours to their location, they can ream you as hard as they want without the benefit of lubrication or buying you a drink first. It would be a benefit to us all in the MMJ community if there was discussion and reviews of various clubs prices and quality. Perhaps you should consider thinking before issuing sactamonious proclamations in the future?

I don't think MrGarden was really making a proclamation. I think he was just issuing a word of caution.

But that does bring up a valid point: Since the raids are ending in mmj states, perhaps this could be a new avenue of discussion among members regarding the preferred dispensaries in an area?

What do you guys think?

you seem awful impatient, and snappy when you dont get the reply you want. you ask for peoples opinions. thats what you get. why does everyone have to get all preachy about who is right or wrong.

If they are advertising on CL and local papers then why do you need to call them and verify? isnt the information already provided in there adds?

if not, then there is your answer. saying clones is one t hing or prop 215. but posting hey i have marijuana for sale for x dollars per plant. man that just makes it too easy for the federal numb nuts.

on the other side of that coin the coops/clubs aren't out there to be anyone friends. they are there to capitalize on a situation. they aren't caregivers or humanitarians. they are opportunistic business men {or women}

if you arent willing to drive the 2 hours, and dont have the money to spend.. why in the fuck buy clones? its much cheapier to mother a plant of your own. then you know what you are getting.... you actually get to select the traits you desire AND you dont go introducing all the pests and disease that come along with club clones.

in my eyes clubs are the shwag sellers of the chronic world... if that made any sense.

also, no one ever said the raids were over. they pussy footed around the issue saying we will be following the will of the president, without ever really saying anything. in true politician form. i for one would not be the first club running my mouth on the assumption the federal douche bags are going to actually play ball.
