FInding a sympathetic doctor to diagnose my wrist tendonitis in CO
permalink

Hi Guys,

I have occasionally notice slight pain and unusaulness in my wrists / lower arms which I think could possibly be early signs of tendonitis. Its very minor and I rarely even notice it. However I Love Mary Jane and just cant afford the risk of being around her illegally anymore

Anyway the requirements in Colorado seem to be that I need to be diagnosed with pain twice 6 months apart or with "chronic" (haha) pain only once, the problem is I'm afraid I'll go into some random doc (I have never had one myself) and wont really play along right when they mess with my wrists and get labeled as having no pain and wasting the $ to see him.

Anyone recommend any that I could see in the denver/boulder area that could help me out?

Thanks, any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

you need to find a mj friendly doc. most local dispensaries have a list of docs, just call one and see if they can recommend a doc.

the only thing to do for tendinitis is to not use that arm. Go to Walgreens and get a wrist support or a wrist brace. Get some anti-inflammatory drugs (like Naprosin or Naproxin Sodium) and let it rest. Using the arm will only make it worse. If you are looking for an excuse to get an MMJ card, i doubt tendinitis will be a good enough excuse.

CannaMed was the big provider of recs, but the FBI came and raided them back in August. They say that 75% of the recs written in CO in the last yr were from this outfit. Unfortunately, they turned out to be Russian mob and were busted for ID theft and credit card fraud.

THC Foundation in CO has been around a while. They advertise in the Weekly and in Westword, along with a bunch of others who will get you the card. If you don't know what these are, you're not really in CO are you?

Good luck.
