Hi, I'm new here and new to all of this. I was in AmstD a few months back and grabbed a few bags of weed without knowing a darn thing, plus a glass ball and straw vaporizer that is also useful for burning things too. :-) I still have 3 of the four strains that were labeled strawberry (useless), Bio, Hash plant balcony?!, and NLX (northern lights X ?) I'll guess Haze now. I just wanted pain relief and didn't even know what Sativa and Indica were then. Now I've read up a bit and made my second and last trip there (driving from where I temporarily live in the EU) I think I've read every MMJ list out there and took notes for the strains mentioned the most. I come home with 18 strains and a bunch of dried up left over leaves and such I hope will be useful too... plus a better Vapo, iolite (or is it jolite) I am a chronic pain sufferer for a decade now. I'm not 40 yet and on synthetic morphine patches and morphine pills at night along with weekly infusions and shots. I also have a relative dying of cancer I think of here. So, I hope to learn a lot here and share what I learn! As I test these strains, I've come up with categories to test each one in. Perhaps some feedback from people here can help me test and make my feedback useful to others.. Here are my categories: Chronic pain/ sleep, Chronic pain/ energy, depression/ sleep, depression /energy, general sense of well being, general energy and motivation, anxiety/ panic attacks. I have 5 kinds of pain or areas I might try to focus on, but this is so specific and my samples so small! I welcome feedback on how to better organize my testing!! I should use the same amount for each sample... is there a standard "single dose" for a vaporiser? I hate weighing things, so let's say 1/8 tsp or relative measurement of ground product in a generic grinder? I have no clue? I tried too little the night before. ALso, I see that vapo's only take out the THC, not the CBD... unless you have a fancy high temp choice. Which of these THC or CBD is for medicinal use? Which makes you sleepy vs awake? I bought the vapo for medicinal use, but now am concerned I only get one of the drugs needed! How to test these strains then... The extras I hope to make into an oil for cooking since I have no freezer space or storage choices for butter. I have a dried up plant given to me... smells like tea. Is it really useful? Any advice here? Last, here's my strain list that I hope to use. I had White Russian, but it seems to be lost in car, luggage or worse. Gave me a HA the next day when I tried it. Like a hang over. For these strains, I'd like to find out what percentage of Indica and Sativa each one is, and maybe more details like THC and CBD. Here they are: White Widow, Silver Pearl, OG Kush, train wreck, blueberry, bubblegum, super shiva, chocalope, sensi star, peace maker, morning glory, Hawaiian snow, Arjan's Ultra haze #1, Thai, Laughing Buddha, jack Herrer, White Russian (missing for now), plus 3 of 4 original ones of which I'm unsure: Northern Lights X Haze (a guess), Bio (tiny pinky nail buds bright green), Hash plant balcony??, and used up Strawberry (cough) which was not good for me anyway. So, before I start with these, I am very concerned bout using this new Vapo iolite and only getting the THC. I hope I did not waste a bunch of money! The glass ball was barbaric and smoking not possible. | ||
