Yep, I just knew I'd do this. little bugger doesn't seem hot to my hands or anywhere else but the lips, and only then if you work at it.

Besides ordering the kit or getting some surgical hose, is there any quick household fix for this hot mouthpiece?

The aquarium hose came in handy, but I'm sure this is not something healthy. It's either do something or I have to stomach some more morphine pills. Yummy.

I am not sure I understand the question here?

Are you saying you have a vap that does not have the original hose and mouthpiece it came with but you replaced it with aquarium hose and that hose gets too hot?

Oh sorry... I have a new Iolite with the mouthpiece. The plastic mouthpiece gets so hot it burns my lips as I inhale, before I cam react. I tried extending the mouthpiece with Aquarium hose, but am not sure if I'm now inhaling plastic too! Even the hose is getting pretty hot. This hurts!

I wondered if there is a common more healthy solution... besides buying an aftermarket kit.

I sent customer service an email last week. They never replied.
