Awe jeez, I just looked ay the date of this post. Is there anyone here who can given me an idot's version to sending a PM to this soldier? I think can help him some. :-(

Was just readign the MJ list above. Based on personal experience (no PTSD) a few of these won't help (in my opinion) . Even with the best bud purchased in Hamsteram, many of these are opposite or useless for severe cases! Like i said, a certain fellow there needs to help thsi guy.

I TESTED SOME 20 PLUS STRAINS THIS LAST YEAR AND KEPT DETAILED NOTES ON EACH ONE. I'LL ADD WHAT I CAN TO THE LIST!

I FIND NO SATIVA THAT HELPS WITH ANXIETY!

(AK-47) for your depression, insomnia.
(Big Bang) Used to sedate and relieve stress & anxiety amongst sufferers of severe anxiety, etc.
(Blue Moonshine) Anxiety, depression, insomnia
(Blue Satellite) Pain, nausea, insomnia, anxiety, muscle tension
(Blueberry) Nausea, insomnia, pain (THIS ONE WAS NOT POTENT ENOUGH FOR SLEEP AND DID NOTHING FOR ANXIETY OR DEPRESSION! WAS A LITLE MORE EFECTIVE WHEN INGESTED)
(Burmese kush) Anxiety, depression
(C99 x Great White Shark) Anxiety
(Fieldale Haze) Anxiety
(Firecracker) Anxiety, depression
(Jack Herer) Anxiety (THIS HELPED ME, BUT ALSO HAD MY MIND RACING. MIGHT BACKFIRE)
(Kali Mist) depression
(Killer Queen) Depression
(M-39) Depression
(Northern Lights) Anxiety, insomnia (TRIED THIS ONE FROM 2 DIFFERENT BATCHES. DID NOTHING AT ALL, EVEN WITH 2X THE AMOUNT I NORMALLY USE)
(Super Thai) Depression
Ultra Green) Insomnia
(Wakeford) Anxiety, insomnia
(White Widow x Big Bud) Depression (CALLED white bud, HELPED DEPRESSION AN INSOMNIA, NOT ANXIETY)
(White Widow) Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (DID LITTLE FOR ME, 4 DIFFERENT SUPPLIERS!) WORKED BETTER MADE INTO CAPS AND INGESTED

You need to turn off the racing mind and anxiety, yet dreams are just as bad! Indica sounds best, as long as the depression remains under control. (you neeed a road trip to hamsterdam!) Pure Indica is hard to find, so soem crosses below helped me:

Here are some of the better ones I've tried:
Widow Jack (WhiteW x JHerrer) tried once, but made me not care about all the crapm in life for a while.
Bubblegum: Helped my pain, depression and anxiety, but without makign me sleepy or nervous. Will grow this one myself some day!!
Hawiian Snow: my Day Time choice with BG. smae as above, but my mind was clear enough to get things done aroudn the house!
Super Shiva: helped my pain, made me hungry when I was to sick to eat, was relaxin but not sedating. My depression and anxiety was forgotten on this one. I am looking for this in seed form to help my dads cancer (no appetite)
Laughing Budda: I call thsi my Alert pain killer, is great ingested. No mind racing or bad dreams, just relaxing . My mind could tell my hands and body what to do, but it was like someone else's boy as answering.
Peace Maker: Head numbing pain relief. help for anxiety, but might make depression worse. I fell asleep only after it wore off.
Sensi Star: sleep, pain depression ,anxiety... mostly Indica?
Jack Herrer: A strong dose of this and you won't care about anything!
Train Wreck: a lot liek JH, but more sedatign to me. makes a numb body
Santa Maria: I really lieks tis oen for sleep, pain, dpression and Anxiety

I hope this helps a bit.. however you likely need 10 times the amount I do to get an effect! I only took MK for a few months, til it ran out. In the middle of that, I had a 2 week holiday and had noe with me. When I returned, it worked som much better! I saw a week off ever 2 months is a good idea.
Also vaporise this instead of smoking... stronger and less damage. Very easy. Mix this with eatign the MJ and you can really keep going longer! I can't wait until I can grow my own!

I'm new this, so there's my 2 cents in the MJ wold. The other things I can hep with much more!!! I hope you're still out there on this site! The man with the oil is your best bet... you need somthign STRONG!

been really sick. i haven't been eating and i am not getting taken care of by the army now i'm on terminal leave. my nurse case manager is helping speed up my va process and i got a call today and they are gonna set it up so i can see a doc over there even tho i'm not out. so essentially they are doing the work to get me into the va process before my final out date. i had to drive all the way to riley from where i'm at and i am extremely tired because i have not been sleeping.just got my pc on the internet today. i barely have enough energy to type. i'm gonna lay back down and be awake as much as i try and sleep. crazy thing is death is the most peaceful thing i can think of so i use it to help me fall asleep when i can sleep. i will respond again sometime soon. may be a couple of days. i hope yall in the garden's cure community are well and good.

Damn GrOw.. I know how you feel. Been down those roads myself and it ain't fun.

Here are my suggestions, for what they're worth --

-Everyday get some exercise, get outside, be active, tire your body out so it's easier to get a good night's sleep.

-Proper diet - don't fuck around with this. Cut out caffeine, cut out all stimulants, eat healthy, well balanced meals. Drink herbal teas -- the last thing you need is an unhealthy physicality to contribute to the anxiety.

-Take Fish Oil.. have been recommended it by numerous docs for my anxiety and it can help

-Find a way to vent your anxiety, whether through writing or art or music, have something to not only distract you but to express that negative energy

-Start up some holistic practices, like meditation and yoga -- in order to face the root issues you have to be able to first relax your body and mind to gain some clarity.

-Come up with a trick to help yourself during anxiety attacks. Mine was taking a hot shower -- it helped reduce the length of the attack. A lot of it is an exercise of the mind. Certain small physical things can trigger an attack, like a sudden tingling in your arm, or an increase of heart rate or feverish feeling, but you can cut the severity down by distracting your mind and acknowledging that it's only an anxiety attack and not the end of the world.

-Find someone to talk to -- therapist, family member, close friend. Someone you can rely on who will listen and perhaps offer some insight.

Prescription drugs can only do so much. I ended up facing the brunt of my anxiety without any help from such drugs, and it was difficult, but rewarding.

Good luck man.. and always remember that pain is an illusion

I just want to send some love your way. Hang in there dude. You will find peace in this life so don't go thinking that death is the most peaceful thing for you.
You have friends and people that care about you.
It's easier said than done but try to find something positive about every single day.

I get depressed that way, too, sometimes- ptsd, not the military but other shit.

What I do, is throw my hat over the fence, so to speak. Don't want to cross a fence? throw your hat over it.
Now go get it.

I go to a local store and get a little something every day. Just a magazine, pack of gum, or chocolate milk. (I'm a sucker for chocolate milk). I need to watch my blood sugar, too, and they got these bags of sugar free hard candy for $1.00. Something I like.

This makes me motivated to walk somewhere- anywhere. Once I start, I can continue, it's the starting that gets to be a problem. Then I go work out, and if this keeps up I'll be bigger than a house!

As far as sleeping goes, there's a GREAT OTC product called Alteril- it has melatonin, and two other brain sleep chemicals I forget. 2 or 3 pills work for me, but I'm a big guy- under 250 pounds should only take 2.
It makes me sleepy in 30-60 minutes, then I pop awake 7-7.5 hours later.

I think it's like $15 for a 2 week supply (28 pills). Plus its natural- melatonin is one of the things in your brain puts out to make you sleepy. No constipation or bad interactions with other drugs that I know of, but as always check w/ a doctor and believe them over me.

Also, in addition to the nutrition as Japhy said, take a good multivitamin in the morning, make sure you got good levels of vitamins.

Hope it helps, things like this are tough but over-comable.

Feeling alot better the last week. It's been since I ate an 1/8th of really good mushrooms too lol. I'm still reclusive as ever but I am not having panic attacks this week! I have not been using cannabis much except when I am really nauseated. I am feeling well enough that I've planned and ran expenses of my Australia trip and feeling alot better about going now. Hope all is well. It was a crazy day here worrying about my friends back at Ft. Hood but who knows what's goin on there after all the craziness. News people are gathered in the thousands even now outside the gate according to reports from my SF buddy. Well I'm sure there's gonna be some lame ass briefings for the whole post in the near future. It's too late for that fucktards lol. Alright yall take it easy. The hot showers definitely work well and I've not been drinking any caffeine. Sleep isn't coming but sleeping pills are plentiful. I slept from 8 to 2pm the next day yesterday lol.

hi,

I see I'm not the only one stuck in bed thinking about death, my own and my father's upcoming, and using sleep to avoid life and pain. I've been here weeks and will try some of this anxiety, pain, depression... the whole nine yards. It seems a more people here understand this than anywher else! I just got a kick in the butt last night that needs immediate action, but my body won't cooperate. I don't know how to become a human again in a week! I go an email fromt the trainer of the Paralympics team in my specialty, or what can be my specialty again, and is my reason for plodding on. Anyway, he's reviewed my ability, potential ability and my medical condition and says I qualify for the team and he'll get me there, from now to the end! I have to meet him in a week and show off what I have have studied since disabled and worked hard for, but in the past 6 months given up on and lost hope and fire, then loss of purpose in life, will to live and all that follows. I have a week to turn a fuzzy headed bed ridden shaking and puking person into an athlete... just for a day. Walking to the front door is an effort... MJ has been gone for a while and my doc is useless. I can't miss this chance, won't...

Great advice for GM, I'll try most of these suggestions myself!!

I just popped in here becasue I was thinkng about GM in his misery and hoped I can still help with the things unknown. I had to get out of bed anyhow! GM From what I hear, you have a few more eggs that need to get in that basket before you jump ship! There are people who care out there, but few who can help. THere are sadly many ways to give your life in the armed services. my opinion, it depends on what life is! Hoory for Australia. Have some fun!

I can add to the others.... that there's sleep and quality sleep... I just spent 36 hours asleep, but it did no good. I've kep more track and the 14 plus hours of supposed sleep I get each night are seprated into 45 minute to 1 hour and 15 minute sections. I wake up once each hour to chug water for my dry mout or pop a sugar fre candy to relieve, and/ or eye drops, and.or pill or pain rub and/or the toilet. THsi is not sleep and it's been going on ignored by me for years. An IV of hypromorphone in the hospital doesn't even make me groggy, so no help there. I've tried Meletonin but not this new combo mentioned above. No wonder when I actually can fall asleep after pain infusions (illegal in the US, so soon gone) I sleep for up to 36 hours. WTF to do?

Might this sound familiar to you? I hope not, but with a mention. Hope your buddies in Ft Hood are OK. This has got to be a media circus in the US and another panic mess. Hang in there....

My book of the week, sorry!

Good to hear you're getting out and doing something you want to. Today was the worst pain I've had all week but I chugged on through. I am trying the no pill thing and it sucks but I like it because I can actually eat a little more healthy-like without the pills. I do have nausea still but I am getting used to it. It is worst during pain and that's usually when I do puke. As far as sleep I can't help you. Idk I used to sleep alot better when I was in shape. Whatever physical activity maybe helps?
