MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!  When to start (earlier) how to make a simple greenhouse (done it; works great) cold frames and removable paneling.... the list goes on. Hey LIL' BUDDIE! HELP US OUT!

 | Well, I do remember the staff having a discussion about this before and since greenhouses are seperate from (or ajoining house) but are still a seperate structure, we felt that they could be discussed in the Outdoors forum  At the time, we decided to watch to see how many posts were coming in that were specific to greenhouses and tht was about zero so we figured we'd stick any in the Outdoor forum. And if how to build one was the questoin then that could go into construction. However, if there is big influx of Qs regarding that we may be tempted to add as subforum to the Outdoor forum.

That sounds reasonable; the site could easily become overwhelmed with a glut of ideas that could be filed away under more general headings. I think I'll archive my greenhouse posts, since I'm learning a great deal, and hope to share it in the form of a grow journal or pdf file. If the time comes that the greenhouse forum does indeed go up, I would contribute regularly.

| some people may not think of greenhouses because there isn't a place for it...it's not really outdoors, but not exactly in either.... at work we sell greenhouses...but couldn't imagine growing in one without knowing too much about it....but if it got started, i believe that people might lean towards it... | i have done alot of work in greenhouses of course never mj related, i have even build a few of them with my friends. i have the plans drawn out right now for a backyard greenhouse of my own and it will go up as soon as i get the funds. i belive a greenhouse forum would be very helpfull to many out there and i would support it. | ||

are the indoor version of the outdoor grow. i think if we start a greenhouse forum, people will be able to learn more about them. and the people with specific info and questions about greenhouses can have their say.... i don't think too many members think of the outdoor forum is the approiate place to post about grrenhouse threads. maybe we could give it a shot for a few weeks and see how it does... if it doesn't do too well, take it off...couldn't hurt. i just built a greenhouse and would love a forum to discuss info and ask questions...i know i'm not the only greenhouse farmer on this site... thanks for everyone's support on a gh forum  | ||

in charge of making the decision if there will be a greenhouse forum or not? i would like to talk with them about this. because i have so much to say on the subjuct and it just doesn't seem like the outdoor forum is the place to talk about it. | ||
