Is there a way to indicate on the forum boards when a thread has been closed..without opening it?

While I'm here...I had recently suggested to LB that we start a library/bookmarks thread/forum that would be regularly purged of non contributing posts. I already have the beginnings of it put together. He had showed some interest..but at the time I hadn't thought of purging it..I was more on the lines of a closed forum...prolly a residual of me losing my Pot U posting abilities..
And example would be...Bookmarks I..Soil, Bookmarks II..Growth, Bookmarks III..Deficiencies, Bookmark IV...Hormones..ect. ect. Also..maybe a warning or sticky that all non contributing or unaccepted posts will be regularly purged..so as to not shatter some fragile Stoners feelings when they see their post removed. Okay..so I threw it out there...I'm done.

I had suggested a Library..which would have been a new forum.

btw..I now use paramagnetism..not a joke. Others will soon be using it too. Mark my words.

Don't worry...no more new forum suggestions. I have Admin. capabilities elsewhere...where the Bookmarks are a fine addition...so there!
