Basic Needs

I would just like to start by saying I love this board. I think that it could benefit from the addition of a permanent thread of basic needs things that everyone seems to ask when they first hit the board (humidity, temp, watering etc). I think a FAQ regarding just growing rather than security issues of the board etc would help a lot of the newbies and prevent the vets from getting annoyed with the same old questions. I do realise that lighting and things of this nature are covered in the grow guide and what not but I just feel as if there should be some basic needs of plants and indoor growing that should be condensed into one thread somewhere. As I said before I love this board but there is a lot of having to read through 'nice grow!' and 'look at those beautiful girls' and such to get the useful information sifted out. Not to say that encouragement is not welcome and it is always nice to hear but I hope by this point in my rant that you see where Im trying to get here. Anyways just to make my suggestion. Thanks

Great Idea. We are actually going to put one together once we get the library straightened out.
Dont really have a timeline but it is in the works.

I pu$$yfooted around it a little bit cause I didnt want anyone (especially you and the mods) to think that I was trashing the site or anything. I just feel like I have gotten so much from the wisdom of everyone on here that I felt that if I had any suggestions to make the board better, easier to use or understand than I could give something back. Of course mine is just the suggestion you guys have to actually put in the leg work.
