Good idea?

I have an idea about a new forum. I do not know the legality or logistics, but would be glad to help with the forum setup and maintainance. There are many growers on this site who upgrade their lighting, vent. ect. Many new members are looking for inexpensive ways to get started. How about a forum...like a classified ad, where people post items they want, or items they want to get rid of. It would function as a classified ad and all correspondance, like price, shipping info., ect. would be handled through PM's. This way the load on mods and admins. would not increase and people can purchase grow components from fellow growers. Good idea? Thanks for reading!

Thanks Plains, I certainly understand the arguments. I didn't realize that there was a previous discussion on the matter. Just thought I'd throw the suggestion in 'cause this is a great group of people whose rapport on this site would be enough for me to trust not to get screwed over.
