way to guess global yield

hey heres an idea,
you should put a section in the site where people can type in how many plants they are currently growing, and then another bit where people can report busts where plants were lost, then by comparing this with the number of plant siezed by the cops you could work out roughly how many plants are being cultivated overall. even this would be an underestimate because the people who get caught are propably not people who use this site to find out how to do things properly!
heres an example, small numbers to make it easier
say there were 1000 plants reported growing in a 1 month period, and 100 plants got busted, that means 90% of plants go undetected. then if you find out how many plants really got busted in total, you could have a stab at a global estimate. so if 1000 plants got busted nationwide then 9000 went undetected.
you could even do it with yields, by weight. get people to type in their yield as ounces per plant, then figure out how many THOUSANDS OF TONS of this yummy stuff gets about.
my guess is that when the government sees this statistic they will give up wasting police resources on it altogether.

well buddy, that would be ok maybe, but here on HC, we dont ( well at least I ) dont care about how much is going , whats getting busted, blah blah cos wehn u say small , and reffer to 1000 plants, That number, is not welcome on this site, well maybe if you smoke about an Oz a day, but this site is for the cultivation of your own gear, for your own personal use.

sorry guys i was just thinking it would be cool to have a guess at how far we are from the situation i think we all hope for - ie that instead of being a minority people like us become the majority and claim recognition as autonymous individuals acting responsibly. i also dont care to put a value on the global yield, i only thought it would be nice to have an indicator of how many people think like we do

Well I don't mind reopening this thread I think your experiment is if at least interesting , only there are those who don't want to say squat about quantity in a forum based on quality. Maybe another forum would be interested in your experiment if so please let me know!
