new search feature

hallooo...

ive found that whilst searching for any info on this site that i encounter a bit of frustration when it comes to finding the correct page and post that contains the term that i searched for... im a bit lazy what can i say.. i dont like having to go through entire threads to find one page with that one particular term that ive been searching for..

the new feature that i speak of:

a check box on the search page, that when checked enables you to go right to the page that contains the term that youre searching for... or even go a step further and go right to that post...

example without feature:

i did a search on "nute lock" and a bunch of results came up. ill use schrecks (first thread on the list at the time) it only displays his thread... no page # or post to go to..

"come in, come in and know me better, man schreck Grow Journals 169"

that means that id have to go through 169 different posts to find what id like... even if i started with the first post and used the find feature on my browser to search that page... theres a good chance that id have to go through a few pages of posts, searching each one until i found what i want... frustrating for one.. and a bit of a deterant to other lazy users.. making them more inclined to post a new thread about a common problem..

example with feature:

(this is just an example im not sure which page or post its really is on.. lazy lazy...)

both the page # and the post # would be seperate links... thus eliminating 2 things.. the frustration with digging through pages to find one thing... and the mods frustration with the constant popcorn posts like "what do i feed it?".. id say that this feature eliminates the later because searching would be more precise... making finding what you need easier to the newer users or the less computer inclined user.. easy enough to look quickly at the thread results, pick that one post out of 169 about nute lock, find a solution and be on their way.. no time to post "do they eat bongwater?" dedicating a whole new (to the noob) very common (to the hc regular) thread to a popcorn question.. (those types of posts must get old fast.. and take up much needed server space..)

Just click the option that says "show results as posts". Then all the results will be shown as posts. No need to thumb through a 45 page thread for the answer.
