Catastrophes

Hey Everybody,

I have recently clipped a few of the bottom nugs off of a couple of plants; dryed, and semi-cured them because my plants are more Sativa then Indica and they're taking longer than expected to finish.....

Kinda getting off the topic here, but as I'm sayin' - since I've also been sampling these nugs...I've been cogitatin' somethin' fierce! (plainsman1963 got me started).

Out of all this cogitating I have produced one especially good cogitation; Catastrophes (not KAT-a-stroafs, but ka-TAS-tro-fees)

I think if y'all make a forum called Catastrophes (or some such) in the personal endeavors section, it would compliment the success stories, but be funnier.

We all have them (catastrophes ) and lots of them show up anyway in all of the other forums, BUT! If there was a special place for them, the funniest ones (that most folks would be too embarassed to tell), might just find their way out to be told.

Lets face it...we all learn the most important lessons from our failures, and our worst failures are our catastrohes. People love this stuff. On TV...Scariest Police Chases, Worst Auto Wrecks, Hungriest Tiger Sharks and so on.

I read a post by jayv25 this week called Pepper Juice Fiasco! CAUTION. It was a riot! It was also however; informative, and got a lot of response. Coulda gone better in this new forum than in the Nursery (course even Marijuana Cooking would have been a better place).

Alright then. Enough said. You've got the idea (my idea), I've provided a little direction and guidance, the rest is up to you. History in the making, right here folks.

i 2nd this suggestion. the nursery is for trouble-shooting/help w/ your plants, a catastrophe or failure section would be a good place to send who ask those lovable(...?...) newb ?'s. that way, we'd have a grow guide, librairy, and a "what not to do" section, that would eliminate(in theory) a lot of those same ?'s about....

bong water for your plants
black lights
incadescents
certain ferts/soil/other supplies
and anything else "my friend said works"

hope to see something like this work out.

Well, well well. On the surface it appears that there is no interest in my idea. I'm sure to you gentle readers it might seem the same to you. Well let me tell you what is probably really going on.

I had a GREAT idea as you read in the initial post. It was even seconded by the very intelligent, well read, and worldly fellow; adidas673. I know that this here ain't no democracy, but I vote to make it one!

Now, out of nowhere comes skitzo63. Tells me its been done, NOT a forum mind you, but its been done. Sends me on a wild goosechase to a link that is in an area off limits to a guy like me. He KNEW I couldn't go in there because it was apparent that I didn't have enough posts to qualify. After all; this guy Skitzo63 isn't just some gardener, he's the dean of cannagentics. That's right...the DEAN!

Okay...here's the straight skinny. This dean; skitzo63, is probably in cahoots with some other high-ups in the HC.com organization, and together, they are afraid that the value of my idea is so great, that to take my offer of half of all revenues generated, would not be enough for them!

It could be that this other conspirator might be plainsman1963. Way I figure it is that the 63 in their monikers is some kinda code or somethin'. It could even go higher! Could go all the way to rick, but I pray not!

As it happens I am at this point fully prepared to give ALL of my share of all proceeds previouly mentioned, AND I'll even throw in foreign distribution and syndication rights. Can't ask for more than that!

You see, in another post I was taught the lesson of giving for giving's sake. Doing the right thing just to receive those warm fuzzies. Well I'm doing just that; stepping back and letting you have my idea. That includes you skitz, and you plains. You too rick, if you are involved, but I sure hope not.

I look forward to seeing the initial phase of Catastrophes begun hopefully in the first weeks of July. Good luck with your new venture!

anywho, yeah i often miss, errr.... well forget that everyone does not have access to the tiki. it was just changed to this a couple months ago, and i guess it takes a while for this dog to learn new tricks, but i assure you... there is no cohooting going on

I believe ther is a conspiracy, but of a different nature. It seems lately that whenever I find a fellow member in need of help by the time I get to the thread to post said helpful information, someone else has beat me to the draw. It seems help comes fast around here (no double entendre intended). My belief is that the HC.com I few is actually hours older than whar everyone else views, thereby putting me at a great disadvantage to aid others first in their moment of need.

As a fellow paranoid I am certain you will understand my concerns as I do yours. Since you have a good sense of humor (notice I used both since and sense in the same sentance and used them both correctly, pretty clever yes? no ?) and the tiki lounge is always better off with humor I too will give you some warm and fuzzy karma to get you on you way to said lounge.
