I think a subsection for those who dont grow with say over 5500 lumens of hps or floro lighting would spark interest..... seeing as how you try to start a interesting tread or someone else does first thing everytime cant do it/ get more light///// well i beleave sometimes there still more to be learned... this would also be of great interest to begginners and those for reasons cant burn massive amounts of light, but would still like to grow.... other who have completely no interest in other than self supply..... meaning those tinkers out there can exchange information and get more growers growing.....Peace SGTQUICK420

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've requested such a Micro-grow forum or subform on here once before, got shot down, or I just didnt persue it with enough vigilance. Either way, I still agree that there should be a micro section on here somewhere. It would definatly help those that cannot afford the bigger/stronger lights mostly cause not all the same things apply. If I ferted my ladies at the same stregnth as somebody with a massive plant under a 1000 watter, they'd burn overnight and be wilted to nothing the next day. I wonder if there will be any steam behind this idea this time?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How many people would use a forum like that? Taking on another sub forum is a lot of to setup and run. would it really get used that much? Are we talking about a forum for using only 5500 lumens or less? Personally, I think if your going to grow you outta do it right, and that includes proper lighting. Growing is not cheap by any means. Lumens per Sqft is what matters so you have a little light use a little area but the fact that 7000 lumens per sqft is optimum doesn’t change. If your growing with only 5500 total watts or less your really wasting your time. and will never get anything decent. ![]() Not that there is something wrong with that, but not the focus of this site. We are not here to teach people how to ‘Half-Ass’ it so to speak. I find it hard to believe someone cant go spend $60 for a 150w HPS or some floros.. If that is breaking the bank then ya need to find a new hobby. ![]() Our goal here is to help people learn to grow.. Not to JUST grow but to grow the best bud around. ![]() Now, if we are talking about micro grows using small spaces and still trying for optimum results with correct lighting then I’m up for something like that, if it will get used. ![]() St0ney

![]() ![]() | I totally disagree i run a 12 ft foot flowering chamber that yields close to 3 oz. of weed a month... By condencing my area and and raising my lumen per sqft i dont gain anymore yeild but run more problems with heat stress ventalation problems and bud rot....... As far as quality hand down clone for clone 4500 verses 7000 ill take the 4500....... Its not like its wrong just a different method of growing more suited to selfsuppliers than growers that sell.... Thought the idea of this site was to promoto more growers and to help the cause........ with our set ups we must fine tune everything.... In a 85 day run on a 2 inch clone of white widow with 52 watts of compact floro's would you be able yield???? What would your plant look like??? OR is it just a waste of time??? THINK because if i can get a photo to load later i might make a difference ... First what do you think???? Peace SGTQUICK420

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i kicked around the idea of starting a 250 watt thread with jbibm...but what your talking about is way less than that...although i do follow those low- watt journals just because i find it very interesting to see what can be done with it...jimmy

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I dunno, I grow for only myself. I run a total of 103,000 lumens with a 600W hortilux and two 125W color spectrum inhanced 125W cool bulbs. The 600W Hortilux is more than enough at 87,000 lumens. I bought that with the complete set-up for only $210.00 new. (@ $90 a 1/4...I spent that every 2 1/2 to 3 weeks on stash) And now I've got multiple "flavors" in vac bags for when I want to change it up I can't figure out for the life of me, how people are growing multiple "quality" plants under a 125W bulb (about 8000 lumens.) In the summer, when it's hot outside. I don't usually grow (there are exceptions ). But through the fall, and winter I do grow and I can cool my grow room off for free by opening a window. most commercial growers are using 1000w+ lights not small wattage lights like 150's and 400's. ![]() Quote:
What I think a clone flowering for 85days under a 52w CF would look like? I have no idea I do know it would weigh MUCH more under a 400w hps and only need 50 days. I would love to see a photo of your bud grown under a 52w CF. ![]() Here i'll even show you one of mine.... Here is my NLxBB @ day 46, SOG, under a 400w HPS I bought off ebay for $99. Finished under 24" and was very ![]() http://pictures.marijuana.com/galler.../39_p19745.jpg If a microgrow forum would be used as i said above i would be for it.. maybe someone needs to take a poll and see how many people would acualy use that forum. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My personal opinion is that this is something extremly useful to the newbie. Often enough purchasing big ticket items (we were all there at one point ) isn't something most can just go out and do all at one time. So, rather than to wait if you've already purused the boards start off small in exactly the same sub section your describing We often feel ourselves grow with the pursuit of knowledge available at this site this is TOO KOOL That be quite a feat,to do it all over again only with the knowledge, perhaps even a contest to kick off a new subsection Thanks again! Just ma couple o bits. IWIC
