  | Hello Greenman, you can add a systemic anti-fungal such as fongarid to the cold solution that is stored in the bottle, this prevents the bacteria from gettin too advanced in growth, using a dark bottle and storing in a coll place will also slow the process down. Unfortunatley though some of the growth is beneficial, although is pretty filthy to work with. I have never used potassium chlorate in a grow, I just use h202 as it drops the viral load right down....less risk of explosion too..although you wont get a bang without flame  Regds, OzGrowa

I think I need to think a bit more 'fridge', cold, dark . . . . So as long as I don't drop a match in there as well then . . . Thanks Green Man PS Any one else out there used P Ch ?? ('KCIo3' ?) Good things/Bad things . . ? Sorry, I missed a bit So the fungal/bacterial growth stuff can actually be good for the grow ???? I assumed the guy complaining about slimey mould stuff had just forgotten to dilute to 1 ml per litre, maybe he should have left it in . . . . ??? Or just potentially beneficial 'in moderation' ?? | ||

| a mate of mine rips up his plant than sticks the roots in to boiling water he says it disolves **** and sends it rushing up the stems to the buds perhaps these two things can be combined childish boiling water sugar and lemon, not something id do unless some one proved it first i got too many experiments to do myself | ||

| Boiling water on the roots isnt going to do a whole heap unfortunatley biologist but shock the rhizomes

Ok, I went out and got citric acid from Wild oats (it's in the bulk foods section 6.99 p/lbs) and raw sugar. I'm ready to mix this up but I need some one to double check my math. Please let me know if my calculations are correct.  1 fl.oz = 6 tsp 1 tbsp = 3 tsp 1ml = 1/4tsp 1Liter = 1 Quart (QT) 4 QT = 1 Gallon so using your formula of Quote:

| 1 quart = 963 ml 1 Gallon = 4.2 litres Use bottled drinking water if possible, its best to heat the water in a pan, then desolve the sugar into the water totally then add the citric acid and desolve it totally, allow the solution to cool before bottling it and you want to ensure all the sugar and acid is desolved.
