Ok I went to check my 2 foot girl yesterday. It has brown spots that turn into holes on it from insecticide. It mutated the leaves and they grow 2 fingers. In one of the nodes I saw liquidy white foam on it. I definately have a bug problem. How should I prevent this foam? Should I bring it home and clean the whole plant? Its into preflower and I couldent see what the foam was coming from due to dense vegetation and it was dark.Help please

If your plants are outdoors, then what you have is probably a spittlebug (Philanus leucophthalmus). The nymphs live in the foam for protection from natural enemies (like us), and to protect against dessication. They are sucking plant juices which cause the leaves to deform. Just clean off the plant and guard against further infestation.

![]() | Ice - Glad to help. Neither spittle bug or foam are harmful to you. Just gently wipe off the foam with a rag. Make sure to squish the bugs. Keep watch for more foam during the season, they will probably hit you again.
