![]() | PA ONLY use the ISOTOX during Veg...NEVER during flower. I had mites twice....use the iso to hit ALL veggers....... and than HIT them ONE more time before goin into flower. 2 TBS with One Gal of water. Use an Garden Sprayer for it, go get you one, it coats very good...and no mites will survive. You MUST be wearing protective gear, you know the routine... I got rid of mine....just USE it before flowering.. Like the day before..... Good Luck! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi newbietoker I had some control with bio's Multirose but only until the population became immune to it (about 3 weeks) then it had no effect the 5 below didn't work either...Natures Answer made by Levington [contains Pyrethrins] Bio's Multirose systemic Fungicide PLUS Insecticide [contains Myclobutanil & Bifenthrin wilkinsons Own brand pesticide [contains natural fatty acids] Wilkinsons Deris Dust [contains rotenone] great for fungus gnats but didn't help spidermites Fumite smoke bombs... waste of time for me Get some Abermectin (do a google for trade names) the ONLY stuff that irradicated them for me. I would use it up to 4 weeks flowering, though using anything during flowering is not the best situation it's better than a devestated crop. If you have bad webbing (cocooned colas) I'd scrap the grow and do a cleanout and nuke excersise, the webbing protects them from any sprays so you'll just be helping them to become immune, even Abermectin says not to spray with bad webbing. Good luck San

I used a petroleum oil mix, it seemed to kill the mites, but the plants got it bad too, it could be very well due to the fact that I drowneded them in the spray, twice, but I havent seen mites since. I dont advise u to spray flowers with it , but I did, and it damaged the flowers a bit, but new growths came out, and my apollo 13 apollo 11 mix which was the best high and best taste I had ( even had a blueberry mix going on) ended up the worst cause I didnt spray it. I should have just picked the buds instead of spraying, but ill use this stuff on veg plants if I need a mite killer again. I recomend using a product with this, only because the damage it does isnt as bad as the damage the mites will do, it isnt continual damage, I havent seen the mites return and from what ive read on here its close to impossible to get rid of mites. I also sprayed the top of the soil with the spray, because I happened to notice that My "pro mix" soil was the culprit. Now I am sterilizing my soil at 200 f for 20 minutes. If u used a petroleum oil based spray id spray it lightly once,, and watch it carefully, if you see it beggining to wilt or any little part turning black, WASH IT OFF WELL! I did this and i had to wash it in under 24 hours, but I sure havent seen mites since. The sprayed buds arent close to perfect, way better than traditional street weed in high still, and way better than the taste of mite infested weed (I was throwing up trying to smoke the few buds that I cut off the apollo before I sprayed). I also just read that canola oil or cinnamon oil will work for mites too, it sounds logical to me, since you can kill things by suffocation, but remember that an infestation will reoccur if you dont take care of the mites that sometimes hide in soil. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Got rid of all of my insects with Orthonex Rose Pride,and(10%)7-Dust.Sweat drying, then quick freezing, got rid of the mites on by bud. Seems they move off the bud to get away from the wetness, then they freeze to the sides of the plastic container. All I do is open the container and wipe 'em off the sides.Sure, some of the little crabby looking critters don't make it to the sides, but I figure they've consumed enough of my plant,a few dark crystals won't hurt me b.s.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I had the very same problem. I got rid of the little suckers by using soapy water. Two drops of dishwater liquid to half gallon of water. I read that it coats them with a film that they can't breath through and they kick the bucket. Don't leave the solution on for more than two days. I found that it also covers the foilage and prevents the transfer of oxigen, co. After a day or so, spray your ladies with plan water, some thing without to much clorine. Tape water is usually ok, but depending on where you live, the cl level may be high enough to dry out some of the flowers. You may find it takes a few spayings to completely get the soap off. ![]()

A product That Worked. It is called.. .. BANG I only tried it because it said it was 100% organic, not expecting a miracle from it, .. but is exactly what i got. Is made in the states, but available here through the usual hydro stores. Makers are Earthsfriend .com It smells to be of a vinagar & looks to be of a soap base, with there own special blend of pepper sauces & such. (if u go there, look at there Tips) Now i have used some heavy chemicals on my plants in the past, in many of wars with the mites. allways go barehanded, .. don' u worry the chemicals did not sting the skin much, but did dang near turn the plants blue from stress. The BANG tho, ... stung like a bugger even after i washed up, ... this made me fear the for the plants, since i put it to them heavily. The Plants seemed to Like it. No reaction, other than an allmost instant spert of growth & recovery. After the second blast, 3 days later.. .. .. i beleive all mites conquered. Now to attack the clones & see how they like it Gonna give the whole propperty a blast or so with this stuff. So i must rave of this product, or at least the style of attack, .. organics .. .. soap at war. Yes i aggree, mist them down to wash it off a few days later, it says good up to 3 days b4 harvest, (don't do it) .. try to finish all your bug wars b4 starting to flower. It Will burn or damage the flowers. But i mist daily anyway, except when i was soaping them, & not for the last month of flowering. Otherwise i find i get a bigger plant when daily misting... GoodLuck Pæce.

![]() | Rummy, that sounds like a great product. I'm trying to nurse some seedlings along now, and I just noticed mites in my grow. Is that product used for hydro and soil? Also, is it safe to use around housepets? Also, these spider mites appear to be small, very small, smaller than your average flea. I heard that they can spread any number of ways, including something as simple as an air current because they are so small and light. Does anyone know if these "bugs" can survive in any other environment? I'm wondering if my pets could reinfect the crop. I let them play in my grow area, and I'm afraid I may rid my girls of pests, but I'm afraid a vicious cycle may have already been created. Any thoughts?
