![]() | i got some organic blood meal today that has no fillers and is non burn in hopes of getting my plant to a healthy green. The problem is i dont know how to use the blood meal cause it just gives instructions on how to use it outdoors. Should i mix it into my water or what? and at what rate? thanks ![]() Rocker~ [This message has been edited by Rocker (edited October 14, 2000).]

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Here ya go ..... use 1 tablespoon of Blood Meal to 1 gal of water .... Let it sit in the sun for anywhere from 2-5 days. The longer you wait the better. i suggest a min of 5 days but you can use it after 2 if you are ina pinch. then once the time has passed use the "tea" and 1/4 strength with each feeding (which is about 1/4 gal tea to 3/4 gal water OR a ratio of 1:4 ). Some can take it stronger but start light and then you can increase the strength as you plant gorows and you get used what it wants. That easy .... ![]() LB

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hee hee ... not that it'll hurt .... but one thing I did forget to mention is that I strain the tea before I use it This just removes the heavier sediment from it.You can spread the sediment as a top dressing for the plants if you wish or any other household plants as well. The sediment tends to attract gnats and other lil nasties when watered unstrained. But it will not hurt the plants! just wanted to add that in here so that you knew exactly how i use it The N from BM tea is available with 2 days from watering so you should see some improvements soon if that was the problem ![]() LB [This message has been edited by lilbuddie (edited October 22, 2000).]
