I've read a little on these nutes, and from what I've seen is that they act like a super-nute, speeding up harvest, making bigger plants, fighting disease, etc. If anyone has heard anything about these it'd be great because I would really like to try some if they actually do those things

![]() ![]() ![]() | Lignite contains humic acid- they're all soil conditioners. They increase the availability and uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, and other essential nutrients, as well as providing some minerals on their own. This is a good thing. Worth buying?? I don't know that they would substantially increase anything if your cultural practices are at all up to speed. If you have this processed and readily available, why not try a controlled grow and report back??

ok here's a bit more on humic acid, this is my second grow useing some stuff called fossil fuel this is humic and fulvic acid and this stuff can be diluted for foler feeding as well as full strength for soil or hydro, feeding under a close eye i see a difference in the growth right away bigger healthy plants. as to speed up growth that i have not notice but the bennifit is you have no chance of nute burn so it can be used w/nutes and not harm the plant although do not get full strenth solution on your leaves as it will put brown spots on your leaves other than this, things are kickin with out the nutes at 4 weeks i am about 7+ inches and going nuts so if you have a hydro store near you check into it, approx 30.00 a gal and in my opinion worth it. good luck hope this helps. alaskahnt : ![]()

![]() | that's pretty cool that you don't have to worry about burning the plant with a combination of nutes. what makes this stuff not do that?

![]() | Leonardite is typically a source of highly oxidized organic matter, similar to a soft type of coal. It can be rich in fulvate and humic ores, depending on the source of the raw material. Products such as GH "Diamond Black" are raw leonardite granules that can be incorporated into the growing medium, providing a slow relaese of humic and fulvic acids. This is one of the few products of it's type that will break down in a single growing season. Premuim quality fulvic acid such as GH "Diamond Nectar" (kick ass) is extracted from specially selected deposits of leonardite. Fulvic acid is associated with nutrient and water transport (among other properties) within the plant, while humics are more associated with nutrient and water transport in the soil. A light foliar spray of diluted premium fulvic acid applied ONCE about a week from harvest will produce crystal madness! (and its safe enough to drink). Apply fulvic acid at the roots through the entire veg cycle (I didn't know they could smell that much in veg!) Fulvic acid is natures chelate; making nutrients available through a range of soil conditions.

![]() | I agree that it would sound that way, but there are a lot of studies and grower tetimonials to back up manufacturer's claims. As a matter of fact grape growers have aerial sprayed fulvic acid onto their crops, obviously at a significant cost but found the results were worth the expense. In Canada one litre of premimum fulvic acid is about $20, and a pound or so of the granular leonardite (fulvate and humic ore) is about $10. ![]()
